Combine a wild and thrilling African safari with the hedonistic allure of an Indian Ocean beach paradise for a special holiday for two.

There is nothing as good as escaping to the remote wilderness of Africa – unless it is extraordinary wilderness encounters followed by unwinding in a pristine tropical beach paradise. Start at Elsa’s Kopje in the heart of Meru National Park. This beautiful wilderness – home to abundant wildlife including the Meru lions and leopards and other members of the Big Five (elephant, rhino and Cape buffalo) – was made famous by Joy and George Adamson and the Born Free books and film. After the thrill of the hunt for one-on-one game viewing, the idyllic Ocean Spa Lodge in Msambweni close to Diani Beach is the perfect retreat for sheer luxury, romance and relaxation, tropical beach style.
