The Kruger National Park offers visitors the iconic African safari – a dramatic production rich in lion prides, elephant herds and thousands of other animals, played out against shifting backdrops of savannah, forest, river and mountain.
The park is larger than the country of Israel. Nearly 5 million acres of land, stretching for 220 miles from north to south along the Mozambique border, is given over to an almost indescribable wildlife experience.
Visitors can stay at luxury lodges either on private concessions inside the park itself or in the unfenced, neighbouring Sabi Sand and Timbavati Game Reserves.

Singita Boulders Lodge
Singita Private Game Reserve is an exclusive 45 000 acre private sanctuary adjoining the renowned Kruger National Park. Singita Boulders Lodge is at the forefront of contemporary African style inspired by the geometry of the rough boulders amidst which it is built. Innovative design and natural hues accentuate a sense of space that flows in from surrounding vistas through floor to ceiling glass walls. Game drives take place from dawn to breakfast and again from mid-afternoon to dinner time which includes a night drive with a spotlight for the nocturnal animals. You can expect to see all of the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and Cape buffalo – in addition to an abundance of general game and vibrant bird life.
Camp Jabulani
Elephant-back safaris are but one of the offerings at Camp Jabulani. Home to the Big Five and a myriad of other animals and plants, the reserve offers unequalled opportunities to experience the tranquillity of the bush. The reserve incorporates the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre, which is widely known for its contribution to wildlife conservation. Conceptualised to support a herd of 13 orphaned and abandoned elephants, Camp Jabulani is an operation which promises a unique and completely interactive elephant safari.
Each of the 6 luxury suites is remote and private. With every creature comfort met, the suites offer the optimum environment in which to relax and recharge. Pure cotton sheets, massive bathtubs, an outdoor glass-enclosed shower, a fireplace with a separate lounge area and a private plunge pool complement each of the rooms.
Tinga Private Game Lodge
Tinga Private Game Lodge is situated on the banks of the Sabie River, on a private 12 000 acre concession in a prime game viewing area of the Kruger National Park. The Sabie River has the highest recorded density of leopards in Africa. Tinga vehicles also have access to the entire Kruger road network, thus allowing guests to view the areas of historical significance and aesthetic beauty that the southern Kruger has to offer.
The facilities at the reserve’s two lodges, Legends and Narina, include a river deck overlooking the Sabie River, wine cellar with premium wines, wellness centre and private plunge pools. Safaris here allow the opportunity to view two of Africa’s most endangered mammals, the African wild dog and the black rhino. Wildlife can be viewed from open safari vehicles, on bush walks and from the private wildlife viewing decks of the suites.
