Mozambique is becoming an attractive alternative to well-established resorts like the Seychelles and Mauritius.

“Just to let you know we got back safely and to thank you once again for all your help.”

Mozambique has hundreds of miles of untouched beaches lapped by the warm Indian Ocean. Water sports such as snorkeling and scuba diving are popular while fishing expeditions along the channels will almost certainly yield prize catches. In the south, Mozambique’s capital Maputo has superb hotels, restaurants and many museums, markets and historical buildings left behind as a legacy of the Portuguese colonial era.

Although showers are possible throughout the year in Mozambique, the dry season is from June to November when the risk of malaria and tropical cyclones is lower.
