A wild and remote corner of Kenya, this wildlife sanctuary in the shadow of Mount Kenya has amazing game viewing in a spectacularly beautiful setting.

Laikipia National Park covers nearly eighty one thousand hectares of pure wilderness in the central highlands of Kenya. A magnificently scenic reserve filled with wooded gorges and riverine thickets, two rivers run through the area, attracting a rich variety of wildlife including the country’s second largest population of elephant.

Vast open plains in the shadow of the snow-capped silhouette of Mount Kenya create a tranquil and secluded setting. Laikipia shelters not only the Big Five but a variety of rare and endangered species, including African wild dog, Grevy’s zebra and the semi-aquatic sitatunga antelope.
