Tanzania is known for its abundant wildlife and the annual wildebeest migration, one of the world’s most famous natural spectacles.
Tanzania is a land of dramatic mountain ranges, rolling plains, huge lakes and white sandy beaches. Add to this spectacular landscape the largest animal migration on earth, wildlife-rich game reserves , a vibrant tribal culture and pristine coral reefs and you have a unique travel destination. Tanzania’s close proximity to the equator provides an idyllic climate. If you are short on time, then we recommend a visit to one or two of Tanzania’s northern parks – Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Ngorongoro or the Serengeti. The parks are easily accessible and provide a variety of game viewing and bird watching experiences.
For those with more time available, a visit to the less visited parks of the Selous or Ruaha are a rewarding experience. End your journey with a relaxing break on an Indian Ocean island such as Zanzibar or Pemba or in the Qurimbas Archipelago in northern Mozambique.
